Ginger Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup wheat germ
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup canola oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup old fashioned oats
  • 2 ounces semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup crystallized ginger, chopped

To Make:

Preheat oven to 375. In separate bowls mix together the dry and wet ingredients, then combine. Stir in the oats, chocolate chips, and ginger. Place on ungreased baking sheets and bake 8-10 minutes until golden brown.

Transfer to a wire rack and cool before serving.
